Arulis (Ehneş ) Quarry Ancient Workshop

Details
Limestone quarry used locally in the Roman Imperial period, quarried by legionary detachments. Two inscriptions, of Legio IIII Scythica, and Legio IIII Flavia Felix indicate that troops of these two legiones directly taken part in the quarring process.
